Even in the Corona Pandemic, the Swiss art fair ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH - this year for the 22nd time - was successfully presented in the historic foundry hall Puls 5.
The 22nd ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH contemporary art fair was successfully held in the historic Puls 5 foundry hall (Zurich, Switzerland).
The necessary corona pandemic protection concept proved its effectiveness. The distance rules could be observed very well, as stand entrances and corridors with a lot of space were built and further protective measures were applied. The mandatory contact tracing for the public and professional exhibition was well received.
Even under these circumstances there was ample space for intensive personal discussions with the artists and galleries present. Overall, the result was a good order situation and numerous works of art were sold.
ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH thus made it possible for the exhibitors at the end of this long "Corona year" to maintain the necessary and inspiring contact with the public and to remain fit for the future. The visitors, in turn, were pleased to be able to experience an art fair "live" and purchase artwork directly.
Exhibitors from Japan, Korea, USA, and some European countries who had been scheduled well in advance could be moved to Art International Zurich 2021 (30.9.-3.10.2021, Puls 5, Zurich) due to entry regulations.
ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH 2020 was once again a social highlight in Zurich's event and cultural calendar. Just how important such platforms are for creative people became clear in many discussions.
After a long year without art fairs and very few exhibitions, this Swiss art fair was a courageous and successful statement for the safe realisation of events.
